Thailand Visa
Asia
Thailand is one of the most popular travel destinations for Indian passport holders, offering multiple visa pathways depending on the purpose and duration of stay. As of November 2025, Indian nationals can apply for a Thailand Tourist Visa (TR) through the Thai embassy or consulate in India, or opt for the convenient Thailand e-Visa system available via the official Thai e-Visa portal. Indian passport holders are NOT eligible for visa-on-arrival at Thai airports (unlike some other nationalities); they must obtain a visa in advance. The standard tourist visa allows a stay of up to 60 days, while a special tourist visa (STV) is available for longer stays. For frequent travelers or business visitors, a Non-Immigrant B Visa is also an option.
Eligibility: Indian passport holders must apply for a Thailand Tourist Visa prior to travel as visa-on-arrival is not available for Indian nationals. Applicants with a history of prior visa rejections (Thai or other countries), overstays in Thailand, or criminal records should disclose this to our consultant for tailored guidance. Minors (below 18 years) travelling alone or with one parent must provide additional documents including a notarised consent letter from the non-travelling parent(s) along with their passport copies.
